Barangay Dagumba-an

Situated in Maramag, Bukidnon, Barangay Dagumba-an is one of 20 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Dagumba-an had a population of 8,720. This made it the 5th largest of 20 barangays in Maramag by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dagumba-an accounted for approximately 8.05% of the total population of Maramag, which stood at 108,293 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Dagumba-an changed from 7,638 to 8,720, a shift of +14.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Maramag. Barangay Dagumba-an is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Maramag is a municipality comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Dagumba-an, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Bukidnon, which contains 464 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Dagumba-an ranks 27th by 2020 population. Bukidnon is classified as a 1st by the Bureau of Local Government Finance, a category that reflects the province's annual regular income.
