Barangay Guinimanan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Guinimanan is one of the administrative divisions of Margosatubig in Zamboanga Del Sur, Zamboanga Peninsula, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Guinimanan had a population of 896. This made it the 11th largest of 17 barangays in Margosatubig by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Guinimanan accounted for approximately 2.32% of the total population of Margosatubig, which stood at 38,660 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 892 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 896 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +0.4%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Guinimanan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Margosatubig is a municipality comprising 17 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Guinimanan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
