Barangay Bebe Matua

Barangay Bebe Matua is a small barangay in the municipality of Masantol, located in the province of Pampanga, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bebe Matua had a population of 1,628. This made it the 18th largest of 26 barangays in Masantol by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bebe Matua accounted for approximately 2.81% of the total population of Masantol, which stood at 57,990 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,402 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,628 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +16.1%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Bebe Matua is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Masantol is a municipality comprising 26 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bebe Matua, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Pampanga, which contains 538 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Bebe Matua ranks 432nd by 2020 population.
