Barangay Bamban

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Bamban is one of the administrative divisions of Masinloc in Zambales, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bamban had a population of 2,666. This made it the 10th largest of 13 barangays in Masinloc by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Bamban changed from 2,429 to 2,666, a shift of +9.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Masinloc. Barangay Bamban is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Masinloc is a municipality comprising 13 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bamban, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
