Barangay Gayonggayong

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Gayonggayong is one of the administrative divisions of Mayantoc in Tarlac, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Gayonggayong had a population of 442. This made it the 24th largest of 24 barangays in Mayantoc by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Gayonggayong accounted for approximately 1.36% of the total population of Mayantoc, which stood at 32,597 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Gayonggayong moving from 407 residents to 442 residents, an intercensal change of +8.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Gayonggayong is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Mayantoc is a municipality comprising 24 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Gayonggayong, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
