Barangay Maniniog

Barangay Maniniog is a small barangay in the municipality of Mayantoc, located in the province of Tarlac, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Maniniog had a population of 817. This made it the 16th largest of 24 barangays in Mayantoc by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Maniniog accounted for approximately 2.51% of the total population of Mayantoc, which stood at 32,597 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Maniniog moving from 848 residents to 817 residents, an intercensal change of -3.7%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Maniniog is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
