Barangay Nambalan

Barangay Nambalan forms part of Mayantoc, a municipality in Tarlac, and is classified as a small barangay.

This made it the 9th largest of 24 barangays in Mayantoc by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Nambalan moving from 1,525 residents to 1,570 residents, an intercensal change of +3.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Nambalan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Mayantoc is a municipality comprising 24 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Nambalan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
