Barangay Suclaban

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Suclaban is one of the administrative divisions of Mexico in Pampanga, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Suclaban had a population of 1,393. This made it the 38th largest of 43 barangays in Mexico by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Suclaban accounted for approximately 0.80% of the total population of Mexico, which stood at 173,403 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Suclaban moving from 1,056 residents to 1,393 residents, an intercensal change of +31.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Suclaban as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Mexico is a municipality comprising 43 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Suclaban, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
