Situated in Midsayap, Cotabato, Barangay Lomopog is one of 57 barangays that make up the municipality within SOCCSKSARGEN.

This made it the 13th largest of 57 barangays in Midsayap by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lomopog accounted for approximately 1.92% of the total population of Midsayap, which stood at 165,376 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,559 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,183 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +24.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Lomopog is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
