Barangay Amparado (Pob.)

Barangay Amparado (Pob.) is a very small barangay in the municipality of Milaor, located in the province of Camarines Sur, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Amparado (Pob.) had a population of 421. This made it the 20th largest of 20 barangays in Milaor by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Amparado (Pob.) accounted for approximately 1.24% of the total population of Milaor, which stood at 33,963 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Amparado (Pob.) changed from 470 to 421, a shift of -10.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Milaor. Barangay Amparado (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Milaor is a municipality comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Amparado (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
