Barangay Borongborongan

Barangay Borongborongan forms part of Milaor, a municipality in Camarines Sur, and is classified as a small barangay.

This made it the 15th largest of 20 barangays in Milaor by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. The barangay recorded 1,165 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,181 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +1.4%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. Barangay Borongborongan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Milaor is a municipality comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Borongborongan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
