Barangay Vito

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Vito is one of the administrative divisions of Minglanilla in Cebu, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Vito had a population of 11,133. This made it the 8th largest of 19 barangays in Minglanilla by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Vito accounted for approximately 7.37% of the total population of Minglanilla, which stood at 151,002 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Vito moving from 8,613 residents to 11,133 residents, an intercensal change of +29.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Vito as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Minglanilla is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Vito, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
