Barangay Anapog-Sibucao

Situated in Mogpog, Marinduque, Barangay Anapog-Sibucao is one of 37 barangays that make up the municipality within MIMAROPA Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Anapog-Sibucao had a population of 800. This made it the 18th largest of 37 barangays in Mogpog by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Anapog-Sibucao accounted for approximately 2.32% of the total population of Mogpog, which stood at 34,516 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 787 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 800 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +1.7%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Anapog-Sibucao as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Mogpog is a municipality comprising 37 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Anapog-Sibucao, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
