Barangay Malinao

Barangay Malinao is a small barangay in the municipality of Nagcarlan, located in the province of Laguna, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Malinao had a population of 1,451. This made it the 18th largest of 52 barangays in Nagcarlan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Malinao accounted for approximately 2.24% of the total population of Nagcarlan, which stood at 64,866 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Malinao moving from 1,352 residents to 1,451 residents, an intercensal change of +7.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
