Barangay Balsahan

Situated in Naic, Cavite, Barangay Balsahan is one of 30 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Balsahan had a population of 422. This made it the 30th largest of 30 barangays in Naic by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Balsahan accounted for approximately 0.26% of the total population of Naic, which stood at 160,987 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 381 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 422 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +10.8%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Balsahan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Naic is a municipality comprising 30 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Balsahan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
