Barangay Kanluran

Barangay Kanluran is a small barangay in the municipality of Naic, located in the province of Cavite, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Kanluran had a population of 1,763. This made it the 22nd largest of 30 barangays in Naic by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Kanluran accounted for approximately 1.10% of the total population of Naic, which stood at 160,987 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Kanluran moving from 1,930 residents to 1,763 residents, an intercensal change of -8.7%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Kanluran as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
