Barangay Makina

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Makina is one of the administrative divisions of Naic in Cavite, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Makina had a population of 727. This made it the 26th largest of 30 barangays in Naic by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Makina accounted for approximately 0.45% of the total population of Naic, which stood at 160,987 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Makina changed from 833 to 727, a shift of -12.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Naic. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Makina as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Naic is a municipality comprising 30 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Makina, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
