Barangay Southeast Poblacion

Barangay Southeast Poblacion is a very small barangay in the municipality of Nampicuan, located in the province of Nueva Ecija, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Southeast Poblacion had a population of 450. This made it the 15th largest of 21 barangays in Nampicuan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Southeast Poblacion accounted for approximately 3.11% of the total population of Nampicuan, which stood at 14,471 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Southeast Poblacion changed from 458 to 450, a shift of -1.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in Nampicuan. Barangay Southeast Poblacion is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Nampicuan is a municipality comprising 21 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Southeast Poblacion, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
