Barangay Panacan 2

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Panacan 2 is one of the administrative divisions of Narra in Palawan, MIMAROPA Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Panacan 2 had a population of 6,196. This made it the 3rd largest of 23 barangays in Narra by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Panacan 2 accounted for approximately 7.95% of the total population of Narra, which stood at 77,948 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 5,571 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 6,196 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +11.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Panacan 2 is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Narra is a municipality comprising 23 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Panacan 2, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
