Barangay Fatima

Barangay Fatima is a small barangay in the municipality of New Bataan, located in the province of Davao De Oro, in the Davao Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Fatima had a population of 1,181. This made it the 15th largest of 16 barangays in New Bataan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Fatima accounted for approximately 2.29% of the total population of New Bataan, which stood at 51,466 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Fatima moving from 1,034 residents to 1,181 residents, an intercensal change of +14.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Fatima is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
