Barangay Mesaoy

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Mesaoy is one of the administrative divisions of New Corella in Davao Del Norte, Davao Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mesaoy had a population of 9,838. This made it the 2nd largest of 20 barangays in New Corella by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mesaoy accounted for approximately 16.99% of the total population of New Corella, which stood at 57,913 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Mesaoy moving from 8,925 residents to 9,838 residents, an intercensal change of +10.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Mesaoy is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

New Corella is a municipality comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Mesaoy, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
