Barangay Jelicuon Oeste

Barangay Jelicuon Oeste is a small barangay in the municipality of New Lucena, located in the province of Iloilo, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Jelicuon Oeste had a population of 614. This made it the 15th largest of 21 barangays in New Lucena by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Jelicuon Oeste accounted for approximately 2.53% of the total population of New Lucena, which stood at 24,314 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Jelicuon Oeste moving from 628 residents to 614 residents, an intercensal change of -2.2%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
