Barangay Noque

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Noque is one of the administrative divisions of Olutanga in Zamboanga Sibugay, Zamboanga Peninsula, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Noque had a population of 1,007. This made it the 17th largest of 19 barangays in Olutanga by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Noque accounted for approximately 2.62% of the total population of Olutanga, which stood at 38,438 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Noque moving from 911 residents to 1,007 residents, an intercensal change of +10.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Noque is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
