Barangay Borok

Barangay Borok forms part of Ormoc City, a city in Leyte, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Borok had a population of 1,399. This made it the 54th largest of 110 barangays in Ormoc City by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Borok accounted for approximately 0.61% of the total population of Ormoc City, which stood at 230,998 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Borok moving from 2,262 residents to 1,399 residents, an intercensal change of -38.2%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Borok as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
