Barangay Danhug

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Danhug is one of the administrative divisions of Ormoc City in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Danhug had a population of 1,070. This made it the 67th largest of 110 barangays in Ormoc City by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Danhug accounted for approximately 0.46% of the total population of Ormoc City, which stood at 230,998 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Danhug moving from 1,232 residents to 1,070 residents, an intercensal change of -13.1%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Danhug as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
