Barangay Calumpang

Situated in Oslob, Cebu, Barangay Calumpang is one of 21 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Calumpang had a population of 1,024. This made it the 15th largest of 21 barangays in Oslob by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Calumpang changed from 1,080 to 1,024, a shift of -5.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Oslob. Barangay Calumpang is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Oslob is a municipality comprising 21 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Calumpang, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
