Barangay Gandingan

Barangay Gandingan is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Pangantucan, located in the province of Bukidnon, in the Northern Mindanao region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Gandingan had a population of 2,013. This made it the 12th largest of 19 barangays in Pangantucan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Gandingan accounted for approximately 3.56% of the total population of Pangantucan, which stood at 56,580 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Gandingan moving from 1,825 residents to 2,013 residents, an intercensal change of +10.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Gandingan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
