Barangay Malipayon

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Malipayon is one of the administrative divisions of Pangantucan in Bukidnon, Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Malipayon had a population of 3,010. This made it the 5th largest of 19 barangays in Pangantucan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Malipayon accounted for approximately 5.32% of the total population of Pangantucan, which stood at 56,580 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Malipayon moving from 3,042 residents to 3,010 residents, an intercensal change of -1.1%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Malipayon as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
