Barangay Napon-Napon

Barangay Napon-Napon forms part of Pantabangan, a municipality in Nueva Ecija, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Napon-Napon had a population of 1,226. This made it the 12th largest of 14 barangays in Pantabangan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Napon-Napon accounted for approximately 3.86% of the total population of Pantabangan, which stood at 31,763 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,214 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,226 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +1.0%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. Barangay Napon-Napon is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Pantabangan is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Napon-Napon, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Nueva Ecija, which contains 849 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Napon-Napon ranks 666th by 2020 population. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
