Barangay Poona-Punod

Barangay Poona-Punod forms part of Pantar, a municipality in Lanao Del Norte, and is classified as a small barangay.

This made it the 10th largest of 21 barangays in Pantar by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Poona-Punod changed from 1,040 to 1,144, a shift of +10.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Pantar. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Poona-Punod as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
