Barangay Bongabong

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Bongabong is one of the administrative divisions of Pantukan in Davao De Oro, Davao Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bongabong had a population of 4,428. This made it the 7th largest of 13 barangays in Pantukan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bongabong accounted for approximately 4.88% of the total population of Pantukan, which stood at 90,786 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bongabong moving from 4,647 residents to 4,428 residents, an intercensal change of -4.7%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
