Barangay Dangtalan

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Dangtalan is one of the administrative divisions of Pasil in Kalinga, CAR, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Dangtalan had a population of 476. This made it the 11th largest of 14 barangays in Pasil by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dangtalan accounted for approximately 4.50% of the total population of Pasil, which stood at 10,577 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Dangtalan moving from 580 residents to 476 residents, an intercensal change of -17.9%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Dangtalan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
