Barangay Santa Catalina

Barangay Santa Catalina is a small barangay in the municipality of Pasuquin, located in the province of Ilocos Norte, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Santa Catalina had a population of 847. This made it the 15th largest of 33 barangays in Pasuquin by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Catalina accounted for approximately 2.85% of the total population of Pasuquin, which stood at 29,678 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Santa Catalina changed from 917 to 847, a shift of -7.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Pasuquin. Barangay Santa Catalina is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
