Barangay Dionum

Barangay Dionum is a small barangay in the municipality of Piñan, located in the province of Zamboanga Del Norte, in the Zamboanga Peninsula region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Dionum had a population of 631. This made it the 14th largest of 22 barangays in Piñan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dionum accounted for approximately 3.12% of the total population of Piñan, which stood at 20,221 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Dionum moving from 692 residents to 631 residents, an intercensal change of -8.8%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
