Barangay Santa Fe

Situated in Piñan, Zamboanga Del Norte, Barangay Santa Fe is one of 22 barangays that make up the municipality within Zamboanga Peninsula.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santa Fe had a population of 315. This made it the 21st largest of 22 barangays in Piñan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Fe accounted for approximately 1.56% of the total population of Piñan, which stood at 20,221 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Santa Fe moving from 368 residents to 315 residents, an intercensal change of -14.4%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santa Fe as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
