Barangay Poblacion West

Situated in Pidigan, Abra, Barangay Poblacion West is one of 15 barangays that make up the municipality within CAR.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Poblacion West had a population of 1,169. This made it the 4th largest of 15 barangays in Pidigan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion West accounted for approximately 9.37% of the total population of Pidigan, which stood at 12,475 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,259 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,169 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -7.1%, consistent with a contracting settlement.
