Barangay Ginatilan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Ginatilan is one of the administrative divisions of Pikit in Cotabato, SOCCSKSARGEN, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Ginatilan had a population of 1,585. This made it the 18th largest of 42 barangays in Pikit by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ginatilan accounted for approximately 0.96% of the total population of Pikit, which stood at 164,646 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,262 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,585 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +25.6%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Ginatilan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Pikit is a municipality comprising 42 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Ginatilan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Cotabato, which contains 543 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Ginatilan ranks 310th by 2020 population.
