Barangay Katilacan

Situated in Pikit, Cotabato, Barangay Katilacan is one of 42 barangays that make up the municipality within SOCCSKSARGEN.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Katilacan had a population of 3,407. This made it the 8th largest of 42 barangays in Pikit by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Katilacan accounted for approximately 2.07% of the total population of Pikit, which stood at 164,646 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,270 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,407 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +4.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Katilacan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
