Barangay Buenasuerte

Barangay Buenasuerte is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Pilar, located in the province of Bohol, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Buenasuerte had a population of 2,105. This made it the 4th largest of 21 barangays in Pilar by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Buenasuerte accounted for approximately 7.34% of the total population of Pilar, which stood at 28,693 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Buenasuerte moving from 1,894 residents to 2,105 residents, an intercensal change of +11.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Buenasuerte as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
