Barangay La Suerte

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay La Suerte is one of the administrative divisions of Pilar in Bohol, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay La Suerte had a population of 791. This made it the 17th largest of 21 barangays in Pilar by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay La Suerte accounted for approximately 2.76% of the total population of Pilar, which stood at 28,693 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay La Suerte changed from 726 to 791, a shift of +9.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Pilar. Barangay La Suerte is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Pilar is a municipality comprising 21 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay La Suerte, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
