Barangay Buli

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Buli is one of the administrative divisions of Pinamalayan in Oriental Mindoro, MIMAROPA Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Buli had a population of 1,348. This made it the 30th largest of 37 barangays in Pinamalayan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Buli accounted for approximately 1.49% of the total population of Pinamalayan, which stood at 90,383 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Buli moving from 1,589 residents to 1,348 residents, an intercensal change of -15.2%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Buli is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Pinamalayan is a municipality comprising 37 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Buli, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
