Barangay Santo Tomas

Barangay Santo Tomas is a small barangay in the municipality of Pinili, located in the province of Ilocos Norte, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santo Tomas had a population of 722. This made it the 11th largest of 25 barangays in Pinili by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santo Tomas accounted for approximately 4.10% of the total population of Pinili, which stood at 17,626 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Santo Tomas moving from 721 residents to 722 residents, an intercensal change of +0.1%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santo Tomas as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
