Barangay Taga (Pob.)

Situated in Pinukpuk, Kalinga, Barangay Taga (Pob.) is one of 23 barangays that make up the municipality within CAR.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Taga (Pob.) had a population of 2,541. This made it the 2nd largest of 23 barangays in Pinukpuk by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Taga (Pob.) accounted for approximately 7.41% of the total population of Pinukpuk, which stood at 34,275 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Taga (Pob.) changed from 2,488 to 2,541, a shift of +2.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Pinukpuk.
