Barangay Ilayang Burgos

Barangay Ilayang Burgos is a very small barangay in the municipality of Pitogo, located in the province of Quezon, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Ilayang Burgos had a population of 72. This made it the 39th largest of 39 barangays in Pitogo by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ilayang Burgos accounted for approximately 0.32% of the total population of Pitogo, which stood at 22,798 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 162 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 72 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -55.6%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Ilayang Burgos is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
