Barangay Nag-Cruz

Barangay Nag-Cruz is a small barangay in the municipality of Pitogo, located in the province of Quezon, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Nag-Cruz had a population of 922. This made it the 7th largest of 39 barangays in Pitogo by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nag-Cruz accounted for approximately 4.04% of the total population of Pitogo, which stood at 22,798 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Nag-Cruz changed from 776 to 922, a shift of +18.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Pitogo. Barangay Nag-Cruz is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Pitogo is a municipality comprising 39 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Nag-Cruz, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
