Barangay Kinuartilan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Kinuartilan is one of the administrative divisions of Polangui in Albay, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Kinuartilan had a population of 757. This made it the 39th largest of 44 barangays in Polangui by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Kinuartilan accounted for approximately 0.85% of the total population of Polangui, which stood at 89,176 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Kinuartilan changed from 594 to 757, a shift of +27.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Polangui. Barangay Kinuartilan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Polangui is a municipality comprising 44 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Kinuartilan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Albay, which contains 720 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Kinuartilan ranks 587th by 2020 population.
