Barangay Bogo

Barangay Bogo is a small barangay in the municipality of President Carlos P. Garcia, located in the province of Bohol, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bogo had a population of 1,364. This made it the 6th largest of 23 barangays in President Carlos P. Garcia by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bogo accounted for approximately 5.77% of the total population of President Carlos P. Garcia, which stood at 23,625 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Bogo changed from 1,128 to 1,364, a shift of +20.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in President Carlos P. Garcia. Barangay Bogo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
