Barangay Poblacion East

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Poblacion East is one of the administrative divisions of Pugo in La Union, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Poblacion East had a population of 930. This made it the 12th largest of 14 barangays in Pugo by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion East accounted for approximately 4.81% of the total population of Pugo, which stood at 19,337 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Poblacion East changed from 895 to 930, a shift of +3.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Pugo.
