Barangay Maasin

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Maasin is one of the administrative divisions of Quezon in Palawan, MIMAROPA Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Maasin had a population of 2,501. This made it the 12th largest of 14 barangays in Quezon by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Maasin accounted for approximately 3.83% of the total population of Quezon, which stood at 65,283 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Maasin moving from 1,980 residents to 2,501 residents, an intercensal change of +26.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Maasin is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
