Barangay Delapa

Barangay Delapa is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Quezon, located in the province of Bukidnon, in the Northern Mindanao region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Delapa had a population of 3,246. This made it the 11th largest of 31 barangays in Quezon by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Delapa accounted for approximately 2.96% of the total population of Quezon, which stood at 109,624 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Delapa moving from 3,191 residents to 3,246 residents, an intercensal change of +1.7%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. Barangay Delapa is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Quezon is a municipality comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Delapa, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
